I was introduced to the world of media when I was brought on as a summer media strategy intern for Dairy Queen at Spark Foundry. On a daily basis, I attended status meetings, brainstorm meetings, and client meetings where I took notes and often shared recaps. Aside from these daily duties, I put together the 2020 media plan by combing through MRI Nielson and preparing a pitch deck for the client. I strategically planned the target audience for 2020 by analyzing media consumption and behaviors, as well as audience changes from the previous media plan. Once I pulled all the quantitative data necessary, I concisely transferred the information into a pitch deck for the client, building a target profile and detailing my analysis of the strategic media plan for the upcoming year.
